Serving campers since 1959, the 50+ acres known as Stillwater Campground is a familiar landmark known to those who travel coast to coast on the Trans-Canada Highway #1 and #11-17.
The sand and gravel soil of Stillwater forms several terraces, sculpted by glacial action and varying river and lake levels of the past, allow for campsites that are both private yet conveniently close to amenities.
Purchased in 2010 by present owners, the park has been upgraded with a new gift shop, restaurant, laundry and shower facilities.
